CRONEE Privacy Policy

1. Introduction of Privacy policy

CRONEE recognizes the importance of our social responsibility to ensure your privacy and safely manage your personal information. We have therefore established the following Privacy Policy as one of our top management priorities. In addition, we will continuously strive to ensure that the officers and employees of the company handle your personal information in accordance with this policy.

  • With respect to personal information, we will not collect or use such information without permission. Even if such permission is granted we will only collect, use or provide information as is necessary for our business operations and will not handle information beyond the purpose specified. Your information will not be provided to third parties without your consent except as specified in this Privacy Policy.
  • We will take proactive measures to prevent unauthorized access, destruction, falsification or leakage of personal information. If unauthorized access is made, we will take immediate action to correct our systems and resolve the problem. To ensure personal information is managed safely and accurately, we maintain our servers behind a firewall and strictly control ID and Passwords to our systems. In addition, we adhere to strict procedures for saving, managing and disposing of personal information. Finally, we restrict access to our servers and control the access of visitors to our facilities.
  • When handling personal information, we will endeavor to comply with all relevant legal regulations such as the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information". In addition, our own internal policies include penalties for non-compliance.
  • To meet the trend of continuously evolving threats to personal information security, we will regularly review our existing in-house procedures. We will establish countermeasures to those threats and appoint information security officers to promote the protection of personal information, lead regular reviews of our security procedures and ensure that all officers and employees of the company are thoroughly trained and act in accordance with those procedures.
    To ensure compliance with points 1-4 above, we will perform regular audits and take any necessary corrective action.

2. The details of Privacy Policy

We will comply with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Act”) and other related laws and guidelines. In addition, we will adhere to the following policy for the protection of personal information that you submit to us whilst conducting of our business activities.

2.1. Scope of the Policy

The personal information that we collect through a variety of content and service on the web and the mobile includes the following:

  • Name, Company name, Job position, Country, etc.
  • ID, Password, E-mail address, Phone number, IP address, Communication history, Website and mobile page usages and billing history, Credit card, Bank account and other billing information and credit history.

Any personal information submitted to the websites of other companies, reached by utilizing links or search service on our sites, cannot be directly controlled by us and will therefore be considered outside the scope of this policy.

2.2. The use of Personal Information

The personal information that we collect through a variety of web and mobile service will be used for the following purposes:

3) How Personal Information is Obtained

  • If we collect your information directly:
    We will only acquire personal information for the purposes stated in this policy and when we have obtained your consent by lawful and fair means. We will not attempt to acquire your personal information in an unauthorized manner contrary to your intentions.
  • Information collected indirectly:
    If we obtain personal information from third party providers, we will confirm that the information has been legally obtained from you. We will only use third party providers with whom we have a contract and we only use such information for the purpose stated in this policy.

4) Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties Except in the following cases, the company will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without your prior consent:

  • We may disclose or provide aggregate information resulting from data analysis, etc., that does not contain any personal identities to third parties such as our partners.
  • When instructed to do so by a warrant of the courts, or other decisions based on the relevant laws and regulations.
  • If there is a formal request for information from the police, the public prosecutor’s office, or other supervisory authority submitted by the proper, lawful procedure.
  • If there is a claim for disclosure under Article of the “Provider Liability Act” (Act on the Liability for Damages of Specified Telecommunications Service Providers and the Right to Demand Disclosure of Identification Information of the Senders).
  • If it is within the “uses of personal information” as stated in this policy.

If we disclose personal information to third parties it will only be the minimum required (e.g. name, company name, job title, email address). Upon disclosure we will take all necessary and appropriate actions to ensure that it is handled safely. In addition, if we provide information to a third party, we will also obtain your approval as defined in the “Personal Information Protection Act” or by taking equivalent measures.

2.3. Procedure for the Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information

If you, in person, request us to disclose, correct, suspend use of or delete your personal information then we will use the following procedures to confirm your identity.

  • Student Card, Health Insurance Card, any kind of Pension Book or Welfare Notebook.
  • Copy of a utility bill (electricity, gas, water or telephone). *Must show your current address and be within six months from the date of issue.

We regret that we are not able to return any of the documents submitted with your request.

2.4.3. Restriction on the use of personal information

  • Use of personal information for any purpose outside those listed in this policy. Removing personal information from its authorized location (for example, sending it to an outside location). We will take all possible measure to prevent leakage of personal information.
  • Company employees, both during employment and after retirement, are required to maintain the confidentiality of personal information.
  • The acquisition of personal information relating to any of the following topics is prohibited.
    • An individual’s religious beliefs, race, ethnicity, disabilities or mental disorders.
    • Matters related to social discrimination such as criminal history, health and sexual orientation.
    • Matters related to the “Workers Organizations Act” such as industrial action and the right to petition.
    • Matters related to an individual’s political beliefs or activities.

2.5. Storage and Management of ID and Password

The company is not responsible for the management of your ID and password. If by your carelessness your ID and password have been accessible to third parties, there is a possibility that the personal information you registered with us has been viewed.

Please manage your ID and password carefully to prevent unauthorized use by third parties.
